^ well it's a bit suspect sending someone with asthma a magazine with that vision on the front... *reaches for ventolin to be on the safe side*

Asthma is one of the biggest killers around believe it or not and in these days with pollution and allergens and shit, it's only getting worse. 52% of children that are diagnosed with it young will grow out of it (inc yours truly)... Asthma UK are a fantastic organisation that are promoting asthma awareness and by featuring figures in the public eye like Alex it shows that you can have a 'normal' life and do whatever you desire. I don't know to what degree Al has it but I know that he always carrys his ventolin with him as a precaution. It's even more important I spose what with his allergies too. But yeah, you do play it down... I was having an asthma attack whilst being forced to do cross country when I was 10ish and though blue in the face, kidded myself I was ok. This is a different thing from interviews with other mags and stuff though - he's a great guy for being interviewed about his experiences and how he deals with his asthma. I'll post the interview up when I get it

It's funny because most of the people I know that have it, smoke. not that they are heavy smokers but that must prove that clearly you can have a normal life...

I was scared off ever smoking by my GP when I was a kid. He warned me of the grave dangers of smoking and asthma and told me (which quite clearly I know now to be crap) that if I even tried one that I might trigger a fatal asthma attack and die. As a child, thats scary shit but as a result I've always stayed away from the cigs

The smoking def. does not help. I'm curious to see what he says about it in terms of smoking.
My grandma smoked for many many years and had asthma, emphysema and eventually died of lung cancer.

Anyone know the complete list of Q's top frontmen? Not that I'm assuming Alex is included or anything so outrageous edit: Liam Gallagher before Freddie, Joe and Morrissey. Chris Martin above Johnny Rotten and Robbie fucking Williams. Since when is he a frontman and not merely a second rate solo club singer. Bono's #1 arse lickers have placed him below Gallagher that's like completely shocking and that. Oh and Alex isn't included, far too outrageous Thats quite funny actually. Har har Yeah, gotta admit that list is kind of fucking ridiculous (other than my favorite 5'7" Irishman, haha). And since when is Debbie Harry a frontMAN? Ugh. I was just wondering last night, too - have FF ever been on Saturday Night Live? To get on that show here is to have "made it" in a lot of people's eyes...and last night I was watching a retrospective of the 2000s and wondering if FF was on it...I don't recall that they were. If they have never been on SNL, I might personally fly to NYC and kick some ass.

There you go - as long as we're putting women on the "frontmen" list!

I love PJ - I think she most recently did some collaboration with John Parish. And, inexplicably, she opened for Bob Dylan when I saw him several years back. I still can't quite figure that one out - I can only say I enjoyed her more than Dylan. lol
