I thought I'd start a thread for these guys cos I love em ;D lol I remember Over and Over coming out back in 2006 and loving it's catchy hook and mad video. Ready for the Floor reminds me of Alex and Nick and subsequent mad Franzy weekends after they picked it on MTV2s Take Over. The new album is really good, quite varied with the genres of some of the tracks (house/garage/techno/poppy etc). One of the things that I love about them is the fact they include really uplifting songs but also chilled out ones too (great for listening to after a mad one). One Life Stand also features several tracks that have had real instruments overdubbed, which personally I like. Adds a different touch to their usual sound. They're deffo a band I'd love to see live. Anyone else like em? Oh and this made me laugh... ;D Either Alexis is really really small or the others are giants ;D

Hot Chip are of the most interesting acts now, amazing band to dance to, to love to and all. Geeky as hell, no one now can compare to them

I like Hot Chip a lot. One of my fav bands at the moment. Seen them live last month and it was brilliant. Haven't danced that much since Paul's DJ set in Brixton. Was hoping to see them again in Murcia (they're playing right after Franz) but as I'm not going now I won't But I really want to see them again this year!

They seem to love what they do, always a good thing in a band but there's nothing worse than being into a band that dont seem to care or have any real passion for what they do. One Life Stand video has been panned by many but in my eyes it's entertaining and they are most certainly, in parts, dancing like no ones watching lol.
Deffo one on my "to see live" list... closest I've come is watching Joe DJ in the foyer after the late Brixton show.

Some audio/vis delights from you You Tube favourites (which I notice they've deleted 2/3 from the recent Jools Holland ) Hold On - aside from Ready for The Floor, this is my fave track from Made in The Dark Over and Over - mental version ;D Ready for the Floor - dunno about 'Hot' but it looks decidedly chilly here wee interview - Owen makes me laugh at the beginning
