NME know what is dignity?
How stupid they are. NME can be pretty much replaced with another. Peter Hook will always be around. That's permanence. How many artist of today would be realy important in.... 3 years (trying to be as nice as possible)? Tell me just one. Joy Division's legacy stretches further

Saw Aqualung last night (second time I've seen him/them) and it was good. Got to meet Matt (Hales) afterward along with Krista Polvere (opener, from Australia, amazing voice) and her band. Very fun and very late night! Not a fun time working with a hangover and dead tired, but it was worth it!

I didn't take any, sorry...I need a new camera - I had one stolen at a bar last summer and the lens broke on my other one. I should have thought to bring a camera from work! My brother's friend took some pics, including one of me with Matt, but I look so bad that I might have to Photoshop myself out of it..talk about a wakeup call to start going to the gym again! lol I'll see if I can get some of his pics and post 'em here

OK, here are some pics my bro's friend took. Disclaimer: I'm resizing the one of me and Matt (Aqualung) small so as to minimize the grotesqueness...when did I get a double chin? lol "Mr. Aqualung" Krista Polvere's band playing with Aqualung Mr. Aqualung (Matt Hales) playing with Krista's band:

Going to see Muse tomorrow night - we have good seats - I'm excited - but I don't think it will top seeing them from the second row at the State Theater (small venue) a few years back.
They've changed...this is an arena show, and Matt is now dating a skanky Hollywood ho...still, I'm excited to see them again and see how they've changed. Hopefully will get some pics - I have lost/broken two cameras, so I have to try to sneak in my huge professional camera from work - hopefully they will let me in with it!

Well we had seats but we weren't sitting. I just didn't want to do GA for Muse because I knew there would be a million people lining up and I hate when I can't see (I'm short)!
As I expected, the show was great, visually stunning and air guitar-worthy. I was impressed with the crowd, too - Muse is huge everywhere else but most Americans still don't have a clue who they are.
But I was right, it didn't top the last time I saw them. Still, a great show! And no, I didn't get to bring my awesome work camera b/c it's a professional one. My brother took some pics and videos on his iPhone - I need to bug him to get them uploaded!

Well as some of you know, I went to see Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem tonight at Ally Pally. It was so ameezing - Hot Chip opened with the moving anthem to many people, And I was a Boy from School which caused me to shed a couple of tears - mainly due to the fact I couldn't believe I was finally seeing the boys live. They rattled off a festival type set of some of their finest tunes, often doing two songs that merged into one another rather than stop start stop start all the time. Album songs such as Shake a Fist - very african drum influenced - One Pure Thought and Hand Me Down Your Love fitted in well with the better known hits such as Ready for the floor, Over and Over and I Feel Better. There's no question the boys give every attention and focus to every word sung and every note played - whether dancing around your keyboard like a lunatic, jumping up and down thrashing your guitar or putting so much emotion into singing about wishing your mother could have lived to see you marry. Felix, Alexis, Joe, Al and Owen were amazing and even if you aren't *that* into them you really should go and see them for the entertainment value. During Ready For the Floor, we even got bubbles lol. LCD aren't a band I'm into but James Murphy et al were also on top form. James proving to be a total trooper as he told us he was on steroids after losing his voice in Barcelona. They opened with Dance yrself Clean which is somewhat of a night shift anthem for me of late - brilliant with lots of bongos and stuff. I was surprised that I knew/recognised a few of their songs, not least All my Friends. Anyway, Bexxo also has a new toy. I only took one pic with flash, as I wanted to get a pic of Owen with Al's guitar during Shake a Fist but it doesn't look half as good tbh as the others With flash. See - it looks rubbish in comparison UNF Eyelashes.... lips..... hair.... fingerrrrrs *rabid with desire* I'll post some more once I've recovered a bit

oh, cheers. It's a Panasonic Lumix TZ10. Bloody brilliant pics, only used flash once with epic failure. All the others were taken without; it records in HD and it's amazing basically. Lol I'm going to see The Drums next week so gonna see how it goes then too

Great pics, Bex! I have the same camera since a few months. It's great, isn't it? I'm really happy with the pics&videos I made so far.
Btw, do you know anything about Hot Chip's next tour? Are they taking a break soon or continue touring? I really want to see them again!
