Ok well, I have been thinking about this for a few days now and I reckon it's about time that we had this. So if you are missing anything from your Franzy collection then feel free to post here and see if other members can help fill the gaps. What I may also do is post a list of all the Franz media I currently own (which I'm fairly proud of) and if you see something you would like then feel free to ask - particularly as I can burn DVDs of stuff. Anyway, to set the ball rolling here is something VERY special. It's the 2005 demo of Turn It On. AND IT FUCKING ROCKS MY SOCKS. Bexxo gives it 27 out of ten. OH YESSSSSS Enjoy it my little Franzy Fun Monkeys www.sendspace.com/file/g7unsi

It reminds me of something that I can't put my finger on. Possibly I like it as the drum beat is way simpler than the Tonight version. Still, nowt's gonna beat mid-08 version

I find it much better, musically speaking than the actual version. I don't really like the album version IN ANY WAY.
Mmmmm do you have any other demos of Tonight?

I like it better than Tonight's but still HY,GOMP is the best so far. I think that '07 recordings of TIO are far better

Cheers Bex. I've always been intrigued to hear this version. Can't say it was worth the wait. Have to agree with Lauz - it doesn't actually go anywhere. I'm going to sound like a broken record, but the '07 version still does it for me.

Yep that's the one. Just had a listen to it again. It's the slow, menacing intro that does it for me. ;D

And the fact the song is so 'simple'... I love that menacing start. I never got chance to go to the Opry gigs due to other commitments but I love listening/seeing these ones on YouTube.
Bring back the durrrrtay synth start I say

I uploaded these for someone else on LJ, so I thought I'd share them for anyone who doesn't have them yet. These are sendspace links so they delete themselves after about a month though :/

Does anyone have saved the interview where Pauls saying that he hates to be in a bad mood for too long and Bob's saying he hates being filmed? It was really good but it got taken down. I can offer scans of the Morrisey NME interview and Spin magazine in return. x
