^ pmsl @ the Comment about Joe from Hot Chip. He of the "shoulder" dance ;D Shame the rest of the hot chip boys arent there though And I have to admit, I'll miss MusicGoMusic, they have been brilliant entertainment on this tour.

I don't tend to buy whole albums anymore, just get the tracks I like from iTunes instead. Good list, have a few random tracks from a select few on that list; have to say though that I prefer Hot Chip's Made in The Dark over the Warning. Paul is way too cool for indie school

Well hate me. I'm a div it's true... but sometimes it comes in handy unless you DO like the whole album. I have a tendency to like random tracks from a lot of artists. Saying that, I haven't done either for a while *shrugs* Limewire and places like this are good for swapping files amongst friends and thats what I have been up to recently. I mourn the old LPs

I totally miss cassettes! I have tons of them in a box in our basement. I need to figure out if I can get them transferred to CD or MP3. I have some good stuff in there and I don't want to buy it all again.
Ah, cassettes. I just liked the way they sounded when you popped them in, the way the tape would get all screwed up when you played it too many times, etc. And I miss my old cassette player with the big old handle, which I would hold up to my boombox to record songs off Kasey Kasem's weekly top 40. Wow, I'm old. lol.

Indeed, I do miss that but alas they dont do portable vinyl players lol. I love the Lucid Dreams that appeared on dot co dot uk, crackles and all. Listen to it a lot... it's got more character I dont know. love it. Cassettes were only annoying when they got chewed up or randomly unspooled - spent many a time with a HB staedler pencil in my hand re-spooling ones that had gone all bandy.
At the end of the day, I don't think it matters how you listen to music, as long as you have an appreciation of it. But saying that, as a child of the early 80's, I do miss all the vinyls and stuff.
